23 has got to be my favorite number. It conrtols my world, and has changed how I see EVERYTHING. I've become obsessed, but at the moment, I don't think a therapist is necesary(spelling?). It's an obsession I enjoy!
I know what you're thinking....23? What the crap is special about 23?
Well. Apperiently you've never seen Jim Carrey's movie, The Number 23. And NOW you're probably thinking, oh of course, she got it off a movie. Well, um, kinda. My obession started with the movie...:P
Turns out that movie's a bit more than a made-up script. It really means something. Everything they say about 23 is true, and the whole movie is based on a little somethin' called the
23 Enigma. Which according to Wikipedia is:
The "23 Enigma" refers to the belief that all incidents and events are directly connected to the number 23, some permutation of the number 23, or a number related to the number 23, given enough ingenuity on the part of the interpreter.
After seeing the movie, I did some research and started noticing how the movie was true...that number pops up everywhere, and I now I see it everywhere I go, whether I want to or not.
EXAMPLES, you say?? Why of course!

Add those and you get 35.
I have three names (first, middle, last) so subtract three.

20+3= 23!! Bam!
Ceasar was stabbed 23 times, the Earth sits on an axis of 23.5(2+3), each American coin has 23 characters on the face, it takes blood 23 seconds to circulate through the body, you get 23 chromosomes from each parent, the Titanic sank on 15/4/1912 (Added up equals 23), Kurt Cobain died in 1994 ( added equals 23), 230 people died on TWA Flight 800 (8 is 2 to the 3rd power) when it crashed, and they recovered seats 23J and 23K, the bombings in London were on 7/7/2007 (added equals 23), Micheal Jordan's jersey number is 23, and that was also the day of the month his father was murdered, The Mayans believed the world will end on December 23, 2012 (20+1+2=23) , and Shakespeare was born and died on April 23.
Obsessed? Please. I could go on and on. I have pages worth of that junk.
